WMUR posts candidate positions, Both of the executive councilors oppose having an inspector general

Remarkably, both of the two executive councilors running for governor oppose the creation of an outside Inspector General!  Corruption in state and local politics has become a major crisis in New Hampshire, and yet the corrupt Attorney General's Office has done everything it can to cover up widespread voter fraud, police misconduct, wrongful convictions, and abuse by state agencies.

I was interviewed recently by WMWV 104.5fm, also broadcasting at 93.5fm, covering the North Country.  Thousands of listeners will get to hear about alternatives to big government meddling and the need for Jessie's Law.

NHBAR News reports responses to tough candidate questions

New Gov Will Nominate 3 for Supreme Court
Candidates Surveyed on Justice Issue
New Hampshire’s next governor will likely have the opportunity to nominate three justices to the NH Supreme Court, as three of the five current justices will reach the mandatory retirement age of 70 within the next three years.
Abramson: "The state needs to prosecute far fewer cases, and, in particular, victimless crimes. Estimates of one-third to three-quarters of cases pursued are now victimless. Until the late 1970s, New Hampshire had fewer than 200 people incarcerated. That number has grown to 3,800. For those with mental health issues, addiction, or other problems that can be solved without prison, I would promote outpatient treatment, recovery support, job training, employment support, and other alternative forms of rehabilitation."

STOP COmmon Core in New Hampshire

10/9/2016

Common Core has become the latest in a series of educational experiments pushed down on our kids by the State, teachers union officials, and entrenched political lobby.  The problem is not confined to one party.  Both Democrats and RINO's have voted to give the state Board of Education more power over our schools and to push Common Core, high stakes testing, outcome based education, and Smarter Balanced Assessment.
Worse, many of these tests, standards, and educational experiments have been developed in secret without parental input, and ask  intimate, personal questions of school children who do not realize that this information is being bundled and sold to corporations.

Both executive councilors running for governor have been voting to confirm Hassan's pro-Common Core activists to the state Board of Education.  We need someone in the corner office who will fight to return local and parental control over education.

Fraternal Order of Porcupines

I spoke recently at the meeting of the Fraternal Order of Porcupines in Manchester recently.  About 40-50 people showed up for a terrific potluck dinner that is held every month for people who are new to the Granite State.

Listening and learning from others is always more fun than sharing the stories of lengthy procedural maneuvers and backroom deals up at the State House.

Also in Manchester, we held a rally for State Senate candidate Carla Gericke, one of the feistier candidates for public office.  She was even so kind as to allow me two minutes on her famous soap box before the crowd.

With five weeks to go, 6% and rising

With five hectic weeks left to go in the governor's race, recent polling conducted by Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research, my campaign has startled some pundits by showing a fast pace toward double digits.  While the campaign originally set a modest goal of 4% needed to achieve ballot access and greater media attention for Harm Reduction and reducing property taxes, public support has shown a marked increase.

Millions of Americans are now waking up to the fact that the two party system and their primary processes are rigged.  The echo chamber that many of these insiders live in does not allow them to concern themselves with the real problems that plague the "two" parties, especially the fact that their actions are now dominated by powerful monied interest groups that finance their campaigns.
